PowerBlock is a company I discovered years ago while sitting back watching tv and I always desired to own a pair of their dumbbells. Fortunately, I worked in a gym that had them already, so I got to use them for free whenever I wanted. I wanted to take some time to give you a brief overview of what I think about the PowerBlock dumbbells.

What I Like About PowerBlock Dumbbells:

Space Saving

One pair of dumbbells can replace numerous pairs of dumbbells, giving you more space for other gym equipment or keeping your workout area from being cluttered.

Quick Adjustments

Instead of re-racking a pair of dumbbells to get another pair, you can easily increase or decrease the weight of the dumbbells by simply pulling out the selector pin and putting it back into the dumbbell to the weight you desire. The main reason they’re one of the top adjustable dumbbells on the market.

Save Money

Instead of buying numerous pairs of dumbbells, which can be costly and time-consuming, you can buy one pair of PowerBlock dumbbells and have it all in one purchase.

If one gets the expandable PowerBlock dumbbells, one can get the expandable weight set to increase the weight of the dumbbells.

What I Dislike About PowerBlock Dumbbells:

Hand Space

The only thing I disliked was the amount of space around my hand when grabbing the dumbbells. I felt restricted not allowing much space for wrist movement.

All in all, I truly feel that PowerBlock dumbbells are a great product. They are ideal for studio gyms and home gyms but could work in larger settings as well.

The company also offers other products such as an adjustable kettlebell, a bench, stands to store the dumbbells, and other accessories. They have pretty much everything you need for a small gym set up for your home or studio.
